What Hardware Do I Need to Run WXMate? |

WXMate runs on any Windows 2000 or Windows XP (both Tablet and Professional Versions) device, or on any device running Windows Mobile Edition. You can run WXMate on a laptop, tablet, PDA or SmartPhone that you already own, or you can purchase a display device from us or any electronics supplier.
The display device should have a daylight readable screen - most laptop screens are not engineered for daylight readability and wash out in direct light. In addition, a touch screen, rather than a screen that requires a mouse or a stylus, is convenient when using the device on the deck of a boat rocking on the waves. WXmate's intuitive user interface is specially designed to facilitate finger-touch operation.
